I am a ceramicist, printmaker, and photographer inspired by the plants, histories, and landscapes of Southern California. I create handmade jars, cache pots, flower magnets, and clay herbariums pressed with real gathered plants. Alongside my ceramic work, I carve linocuts, make monoprints, and photograph natural forms, all of which mirror the same organic textures and cycles of the land.

My journey into ceramics and photography began at Pasadena City College, where under the guidance of Mr. Gonzalez I reconnected to Earth through clay, and where Mr. Jordan encouraged my perspective behind the lens. Rooted in my experience as an Indigenous Mexican woman and my explorations across the Transverse Ranges, my practice honors culture, land, and memory through both material and image-making.

Across mediums, I work to bridge art and Mother Nature, crafting objects and images that hold ecological stories and deepen relationships with place.

As wind,
As water,
As fire,
As life,
God
Is both creative and destructive,
Demanding and yielding,
Sculptor and clay.
God is Infinite Potential:
God is Change.
